The morning started off with hitting the send button to the subscribers of the Mighty Swell mailing list announcing our exciting news: We have a permanent home! That's right, as of Sunday, Meghan and I are the proud key holders to our very own store front space. She announced it on her blog, so you can head over there for the whole story...THEN, the postcards came! It's always fun to get new printed pieces in the mail.
Later on, Megs and I met up at the new Mighty Swell Headquarters where we found these beautiful flowers & a lovely card waiting for us, courtesy of Jess of umber studios (the former tenant of our new space & dear friend).
We had an awesome brain storming session about everything from window displays to merchandising ideas.
To top it all off, I had a much deserved drink with friends. And what would be more appropriate to crack open than my little jar of apple Jameson that Meghan gave me for xmas this year!?! It was friggin' delicious, and it took everything in me to not polish off the whole thing.
Somebody tweeted this quote yesterday (sorry - can't remember who). I couldn't have said it better myself. Here's to a very "lucky" and shiny future for Mighty Swell, Meghan and myself. Thank you to everyone out there who's shown us love and support - we couldn't have done it without you! XOXOXO
